1. Introduction

Kingstutor provides an online platform that connects students with tutors for live tutoring sessions. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services by individuals, companies, and tutors.

2. User Accounts & Eligibility

2.1 General Users (Students & Visitors)

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or have parental consent if under 18.
• Users agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• Users are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality.

2.2 Tutors

• Tutors must provide valid credentials and agree to the verification process.
• Tutors acknowledge that Kingstutor deducts a 15% commission from every class payment.
• The amount received per class will be the advertised class price minus the 15% platform commission.
• Tutors must comply with Kingstutor’s quality standards and policies.

2.3 Companies & Organizations

• Companies can create accounts to enroll employees in language and training programs.
• Company administrators are responsible for managing enrolled employees.
• Payment for corporate packages must be made upfront or as agreed in contractual terms.

3. Payment & Commission Structure

• Users (students and companies) are responsible for any applicable taxes, transaction fees, or additional charges imposed by their country or payment provider.
• Tutors must comply with tax regulations in their respective countries and are responsible for declaring and paying any required taxes on their earnings.
• Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers.
• Kingstutor deducts 15% commission from every tutoring session before disbursing payments to tutors.
• Corporate clients may be subject to different pricing structures based on their subscription plans.
• Users agree that refunds and cancellations are subject to Kingstutor’s refund policy.

4. Code of Conduct

• Users and tutors must engage respectfully and professionally.
• Any form of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct is strictly prohibited.
• Violation of policies may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

• Tutors retain ownership of their original content but grant Kingstutor a non-exclusive license to display materials for educational purposes.
• Users may not redistribute, modify, or misuse any platform content.

6. Data Privacy & Security

• User data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• We implement security measures to protect user data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
• Users acknowledge and accept the risks associated with online data transmission.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Kingstutor is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the platform.
• We do not guarantee tutor availability or learning outcomes.
• Disputes between tutors and students must be resolved in accordance with our dispute resolution process.

8. Modifications & Updates

• Kingstutor reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
• Users will be notified of major changes via email or platform notifications.
• Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Termination & Account Suspension

• Kingstutor may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• Users can request account deletion by contacting customer support.
• Refund policies apply to terminated accounts as per our refund policy.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• The laws of Cameroon govern these Terms.
• Disputes will first be resolved through mediation. If unresolved, they will be handled through arbitration or legal proceedings as per applicable laws.
